The black bird called to a smart mocking bird
perched on a fence post.
"Please, stop your sweet chatter
and help me with this matter."
The mocking bird flew over to
the the maple tree.
He said, "If you cannot act alive,
you can at least try to look alive.
I will call my friends together and we will
find a way to help you."
